Training for our Future
The future of manufacturing and engineering in the Hunter depends on the skills of its workforce. Our companies need not only to be highly skilled, they must be committed to developing and enhancing these skills if they are to continue to compete in today's fast-paced and volatile business world.

The HunterNet Group Training Company was established by HunterNet members to support companies who lack the resources to provide structured "on-the-job" training programs. Our unique program consolidates on- and off-the-job learning and has revolutionised the face of apprentice training in the Hunter.

We provide training and replacement in a variety of trades and careers, ranging from the technical to the administrative. Trainees and apprentices are employed by the HunterNet Group Training Company on behalf of companies who will guarantee their positions for the duration of their training. During their apprenticeships, students are placed in several different member companies so as to broaden their skills-base and their understanding of operations across a number of industries and work-places. A manager is employed by HunterNet Group Training Company to co-ordinate the skills development as required by each member.
